When is my session?
Your session will be determined by your delivery type. If you have a regular delivery, your session will be the following day. If you have a c-section, your session will be on the second day. All sessions will be in the comfort of your room, we will come to you. Sessions will be less than 30 minutes to make things as easy as we can on everyone involved.
What to pack for the session?
If you wish to be a part of the portraits, you should bring solid shirts to wear. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcome to be a part of this once in a lifetime event. Darker solids will work better and will look good in both black and white, and color. Make sure to bring your rings if you would like to have them in the portraits as well. We can also create images with your hands too, so clear or no polish would work the best. You can also bring a favorite blanket or other keepsake that you would like in the portraits. Our photographers will make every effort to include as many people or props as we can fit into the time allowed.
How will I know when it is my turn the day of the session?
A member of the Anderson Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary will come around ahead of the photographer and make sure that you and the baby have time to get ready for your session.
If you have any questions prior to going to the hospital, please feel free to give us a call at 659-9811 and we can help you with this once in a lifetime chance to capture your baby's first moments.
